Less volume – what does it mean?
What volume reduction means in everyday work.
Volume is not weight
Up to approx. 90 % less volume means the waste takes up far less space. The weight does not drop by the same amount.
What it means day to day
Less volume means fewer full bins and usually fewer collections. Exactly how many depends on your bins and collection schedule.
